The band Judas Priest has postponed the remainder of its U.S. tour due to serious heart problems with guitarist Richie Faulkner.
The “50 Heavy Metal Years” tour began Sept. 8 and was scheduled to end Nov. 5, 2021. The band played a show Sept. 26 at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, with the next show scheduled for Sept. 29 in Denver.
But on Sept. 27, the band released a statement saying that Faulkner had been hospitalized because of heart problems.
“It is with deep regret that we have to postpone the remainder of our U.S. tour. As soon as we get any news from his doctors, we can plan new dates.”
